Montcalm County Opts for Compassion

Euthanasia by Injection on Track in Montcalm
Montcalm County Animal Control is finally on track to become an animal shelter, instead of a cruel pound. The county is one of just a handfull in Michigan that give animals to research dealers, cruelly allowing a research dealer to gas animals in a barrel. The animal control director admits the gassing is not humane and is now opting for euthanasia by injection. She also wants to end the county shelter's involvement with the notorious b dealer, R & R Research.

Vreba-Hoff Factory Farm Polluting Michigan

DEQ fines of over $400,000 were upheld by a mediator. Vreba-Hoff Dairy, a Michigan factory farm was found violating environmental protection rules.
